William Jackson has been a savvy businessman for more than 50 years, and in the past three decades has put these skills to test as the president of his own company, Jackson International, Inc. Located in Evergreen, CO, its survival through the years is a testament to Dr. Jackson’s exemplary leadership and abilities. Prior to owning his own business, he was the co-owner and operator of the International Bell Museum, Inc., for just under a decade throughout the 1970s and 1980s. At around the same time he co-owned Jackson Brothers Investments.

Even before his business ventures, Dr. Jackson displayed his refined skills as a teacher in psychology and economics at the Englewood School District. He taught from 1958 to 1964. Additionally, he served as an executive insurance director of education services for the Idaho School of Employment and as an account manager and collection contractor for the Montgomery Ward in Walla Walla, Washington.

Dr. Jackson’s commitment to education is another staple of his career. In 1957, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in secondary education from the Northwest Nazarene College. He continued at the University of Northern Colorado to earn a Master of Arts in secondary education. In 1964, he graduated with an EdM from the University of Denver. He returned to learning in the late 1980s where he again attended the University of Denver. There, he received a Ph.D. in higher education administration and research in 1991. The same year, he earned a Ph.D. from Stanford University.
